  4. Reporting Broken Links

Some of you might have noticed by now that at the bottom of the threads there is a new button called Report Broken Links. This little piece of code has been hand-coded by the MechoPirate Admin Team and we are pleased to say this is now working better than we anticipated
Lets say a member by the name of peterparker puts a post up with a movie and 6 download links but none of those links work, Rather than skipping past them we ask if you can please click the
Report Broken Links button and notify the author who can then either re-upload using mirrors OR trash the thread.
As we run the site for the community and so many people frequent our site this is our way of asking for a little help, not only is it going to save many man hours per week it will also keep the content fresh and active for you all and encourage frequent visitation rather than sporadic

We thank you for your assistance with this matter and hope you all enjoy the wonderful treats that MechoPirate has to offer

Some Info About Rooting Android OS

    1.What is Rooting?

Rooting is the procedure of gaining the administrator rights on an Android device. The root user has complete access to the entire operating system. He can customise the device, remove system apps, deny app permissions and much more.By rooting the user overcomes the restrictions put on by the OEMs and carriers.

    2.Why Root your device?

Rooting gives the ability to alter system applications and use apps that require administrator-level permissions.By rooting,a user can even replace the entire operating System with a custom made one.For example, the user can unlock features like WiFi-Tethering which is blocked by carriers.

    3.Advantages

Advantages of rooting includes the complete control over the operating system and the ability to customise the OS according to ones taste. The following are some of the main advantages a root user can have.

*Full access to the UI:The user can change or theme everything ffrom basic things like icons to the Boot Animations.
*Full access to CPU and Kernel:The user is able to tweak the Kernel and the CPU for better perfomance/battery life according to his needs.OverClocking helps to unleash the CPU power which is generally kept controlled by the OEMs.
*Backup&Restore:The user gains full application control and the ability to backup and restore the apps or even the entire operating systemusing a custom recovery. This becomes handy when switching ROMs or testing builds.
*Automation:One of the gratest feature of root is that you can automate almost everything on your phone. This can be attained by using Automators like Tasker.
*Ability to install a Custom OS:As android is open-source its easy for anyone with proper programming skills can build a custom ROM on their own.Custom ROMs can be flashed on a device that replaces the OEM's firmware and add additional levels of customisations.

    4.Warnings

Warranty: On most of the devices, rooting voids Warranty. However Rooting doesn't damage the hardware. There are a few manufactures like OnePlus which provides warranty to the device even if the user roots the device.

Bricking:Rooting a device is a safe process. However, there's always a danger of bricking it."Bricking" refers to braking the device, making it unusable. There are two types or "Bricks"-Soft Brick and Hard Brick. In the case of Soft Brick,it is possible to bring back the device to the working state, but when it comes to hard-brick,the device cannot be recovered and is rendered useless. It is always advised to do some research and ask advices from experts before you root your phone.
